Piers, I used the lighter clay for the Corral mugs. This is the only glaze that doesn't seem to be affected by the clay defects. I'm not sure why it turns out well, but I'm happy for it!
Betainverse, thanks for your feedback about etsy. I wasn't finding it to be very helpful, but as soon as I have the Fairplay gallery stocked, I'll reconsider starting that up again. In the meantime, I do commissions (the Corral mugs were commissioned by one of our homeowners, and I have a set of 5 to make next).

The Corral mugs turned out quite similar to the first batch! I also like the other cups, the blue is a unique highlight.
These are beautiful. I especially like the pots, and I'm kind of sad they're not on etsy.
